Lieutenant-Governor (L-G) Girish Chander Murmu, on his maiden visit to the district here today, reviewed major development projects.

He was accompanied by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, and other province-level officials. A review meeting was held where district officials, including BDC members, president of the municipal council and committees, along with the councillors, were present.

A power-point presentation on various development projects was displayed by the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla. He presented ongoing major developmental projects in the district, including Devika Rejuvenation Project, solid waste management plant and other works in detail. He also discussed the upcoming projects in the district.
