The non-functional fountains in Bagh-e-Bahu have taken away sheen off the only terraced garden in Jammu.

The terraced garden is situated on the banks of the Tawi and was developed in the 1980s around the Bahu Fort, which is famous for an ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Kali.

The garden and its water channels, which have been established on the pattern of the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar, have not been repaired for years now. A project worth Rs 6 crore to beautify and replace the water channels has been going on at a slow pace.
