The AILU meeting held detailed discussion regyding converting of the J&K State to two "Union Territories, repealing of many states made laws, winding up of many forums of public grievances redrassal, lawyers agitation on shifting of registration and shifting of High'Court from its present location.

The meeting was presided over by preSident of the State Unit Hari Chand Jalmeria and participated by Advocates BL Kaigotra, BS Manhas, Roop Lal, Surinder Kour, KM Echatti, Shakeel Ahmed, Hari Om Singh, An John, Amrit Sarin, Mohd Rashid Qureshi, Surjit Singh Andotra, Miss Supriya Chouhan, Asiam Bhatt. The NW felt deeply concerned over the downgrading of the Great State of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories.

This great and magnificent State was created by great efforts of the people living here particularly the Dogras, has lived over 100 years but have a history of thousands of years. The state had a vast geographical extent and strategic importance. Unfortunately, much of its area is under illegal occupation of Pakistan and China after 1947.
