Jammu Municipal Corporation will open its petrol pump at Dogra Chowk in the city. For this, Mayor Chandra Mohan Gupta proposed in the General House which was passed in one voice. Meyer said that the corporation will open its petrol pump in association with Indian Oil Corporation. With this, the corporation will get three rupees cheaper than the normal price of diesel-petrol for its vehicles.

However, fuel rates will remain normal for ordinary customers. Meyer said that by opening his own petrol pump, the corporation's fuel expenditure will be reduced. Also, a good source of income will also be ready. Approval will be obtained from the Secretariat for this.
