Two Covid patients recover in Ladakh

The total number of Covid positive cases in Union Territory Ladakh has now reduced from 13 to 11, with two infected patients getting cured and discharged from the hospital. The 11 patients include nine from Leh District and two from Kargil District. Ladakh UT Spokesperson Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel said only 11 positive cases were left in Ladakh as two Covid patients had now tested negative, twice. Both were discharged from the isolation ward of SNM Hospital, Leh, on Monday night. However, the duo have further been placed in quarantine for another 15 days. The sample results of 30 were still awaited. Meanwhile, Union Territory Ladakh has not reported any positive case of Covid for the past two days. Samphel said the Health Department had received 18 samples on Monday night and all had tested negative. These samples included 15 from Kargil and three from Leh. The negative sample reports also included that of a passenger of GoAir-617, who was admitted at SNM Hospital, Leh, after deboarding at KBR airport, Leh, he added.
