A 27-year-old man has tested positive for coronavirus in Jalandhar. He is the son of Baldev Singh's relative who had tested positive earlier. While the tests of his cousins have all been negative. Now only his uncle's test is awaited. Cousins have been shifted back to Virk after they tested negative on Thursday. The man, his brother, father, mother and uncle are still in isolation at the Jalandhar civil hospital. With this the positive cases in Jalandhar have risen to five.

Meanwhile, three more people have tested positive in Hoshiarpur. They were in touch with Baldev Singh's contact Harbhajan Singh who had previously tested positive. This time Harbhajan Singh's wife, daughter-in-law and a neighbour have tested positive. They are all residents of Moranwali village in Hoshiarpur.
