Families who are distressed to meet inmates in jails will get relief from the new year. The jail department is going to start the e-visit service from January 1. Under this, the prisoner's family member can take advantage of this service by going to a nearby jail in his area. E-meeting will be conducted from one jail to another through video conferencing. The jail department has released the names and mobile numbers of the officers for this. Many people of the Jammu division are in jails of Kashmir and many Kashmiris are in jails of Jammu. In such a situation, the family has to face a lot of difficulties to meet.
