Two IAS and one KAS officer of the state have been transferred on the orders of Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu. Senior IAS officer Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Finance Commissioner, Revenue Department, who also has the additional charge of Inspector General of Registration, has been transferred and made Principal Secretary of Revenue Department.

Abdul Majeed Bhatt, Secretary, Cooperative Department, who was holding the additional charge of the Revenue Department, has been relieved of the additional charge. Dr. Kotwal will also hold the additional charge of Finance Commissioner of Revenue Department and Inspector General of Registration of J&K.
