Silver screen or the red carpet, Sridevi always seemed to have a larger than life presence on celluloid. From her fruit cornucopia headgear in the song 'Hawa Hawai' from 'ChaalBaaz' to her Sabyasachi cotton saris in 'English Vinglish', her outfits are still fresh in our minds as the diva rarely failed to leave an impression.
The veteran actor was quite fond of traditional Indian attires, and saris were a particular favourite. While most might shirk away from carrying off so much bling, Sridevi was a natural and did it beautifully. This golden sari from Sabyasachi is proof and the actor accessorised it with a heavy neckpiece and matching jhumkis, along with red roses adorning her bun.
Sridevi's love for jumpsuits was no secret. The actor brought the same grace to her contemporary numbers as she did to her ethnic ensembles. At the Tina Ambani birthday bash earlier this year, she looked gorgeous in a romantic red jumpsuit from Falguni and Shane Peacock. We like the off-shoulder embellished number with a cape that stylist Eshaa Amiin teamed with black high heels. She kept the tone of the attire chic and classy by accessorising with a pair of danglers from Mehernosh Heeramaneck along with a diamond ring. What we liked most is her simplistic approach
