An alert has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir regarding the coronavirus that killed many people in China. On the orders of the Union Health Ministry, all the twenty districts of the state have been issued advisory and instructed to make proper arrangements and make people aware of the virus. China's border with Ladakh, the neighboring state of Jammu and Kashmir, is adjacent. However, no suspected patient victim has been confirmed yet. Coronavirus has killed many people in China and many parts of the world and thousands of people are suffering from it.

Advisory issued at the district level has asked to monitor suspected patients. It will report to the Health Directorate on the symptoms of the virus in a suspected patient at the district level, which will have a provision to isolate the victim in GMC for special treatment. Since the symptoms of this virus resemble those of the common cold, it is difficult to identify a suspect in such patients on a large scale.


According to CMO Jammu Dr. Danish Ayub Khan, he has been issued advisory by the Health Directorate, which has been asked to work on measures for rescue. It is planned for this. Doctors have been asked to identify suspected patients.

Runny nose, severe headache, cough and phlegm, sore throat, fever, fatigue and vomiting, shortness of breath, etc.

The coronavirus spreads to others by coming into contact with a person suffering from it. The patient infected with the disease should cover the mouth and nose with a handkerchief while coughing and sneezing. After coming from outside and before eating food, wash hands with soap. Drink plenty of water. Do not shake hands with a person suffering from Coronavirus.
