RAJOURI: Taking cognizance of the video circulated in social media regarding issues of scuffle between a Medical Officer posted in PHC Moughla and the attendants of the patients.

The video circulated has brought out breaking of door and manhandling of the Medical officer by the attendants of the patient.

As per reports, during the intervening night a patient namely Rajesh Kumar, son of Kamal Raj, resident of Moghla, was brought by his relatives to PHC Moughla, Daramsaal.
Reportedly the doctor namely Showket Ali resident of Qamarwari Srinagar, remained confined to his quarter and didn’t come out.

On this the attendants of patient broke open the door of Doctor’s quarter and manhandled him.
Thereafter they locked the PHC Moghla and took patient to PHC Taryath.

Acting promptly Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad has ordered an inquiry committee to bring out facts in the issue.

The enquiry committee constituted comprises of the Sub Divisional Magistrate Kalakote and Deputy Chief Medical Officer Rajouri.

DDC has directed the enquiry committee to submit a detailed factual report within a period of three days positively, so that action under law could be initiated.
