UP CM Aditynath inaugurated Metro’s Aqua line connecting Noida to Greater Noida

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated the much-awaited Aqua metro Line that will connect Noida with Greater Noida.

This line is the longest Metro corridor in the country inaugurated at one go. It is 29.7 km long. At 29 km, the Hyderabad Metro held the earlier record.

The metro line has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5,503 crore.

Adityanath inaugurated the metro line from Sector 137 station. From there, he took a metro ride to the terminal station in Greater Noida.
"We have completed this line in record time. I thank PM Modi for this opportunity. Uttar Pradesh will be the growth engine of India," said Adityanath.

He declared that Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Agra and Meerut would soon be connected by the metro network.
