BJP disappointed youth, lower rung employees: Mula Ram

JKPCC Vice President and former Minister, Mula Ram on Sunday hailed the vision of Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi for ensuring a minimum income of Rs 72,000 per year for the poorest 20 per cent of India’s population.
Intensifying election campaign at Katra, Parthal Palyal and Talwara Reasi in support of Congress candidate Udhampur Kathua Parliamentary Constituency, the former minister Mula Ram accompanied by DCC Rural President Hari Singh Chib, said that NYAY scheme is aimed to empower the poor by guaranteeing minimum income of Rs 72,000 per annum if the Congress was voted to power. He also referred to numerous achievements of UPA 1st and UPA 2nd and said that tremendous development had benefitted each and every section of society, throughout the State and these development activities are visible even in present.
He said that Congress in its manifesto has committed to provide free education up to Class 12th, 33 per cent reservation to women which could not provide under the regime of BJP Government.
Addressing a series of meetings, DCC Rural President Hari Singh Chib accused previous government of befooling people of the State by making false claims regarding development. He said that BJP surrendered for the sake of power marring the interests of Jammu youth and compromised on its commitments merely to remain in power.
