Decks appear to be have been finally cleared for Tasaduq Hussain Mufti to get into the upper house as Governor NN Vohra has returned to Raj Bhavan after attending series of meetings in New Delhi, reports a local news agency, KNS.

Sources told KNS that the Vohra is likely to send the file back to government with his approval for nominating Tasaduq Hussain Mufti as the member of the State legislative council in a few days. The sources in the legislative council said the approval was still pending and they are expecting it anytime soon.

The PDP sources said that the induction may be put on hold till the assembly session that begins on January 2 was over. There is now official confirmation from PDP regarding the same.
