Rajya Sabha on Friday was adjourned for the day on account of protests by Opposition members against the recent Delhi violence till March 11.

The members stormed into the Well of the House and raised slogans over the communal violence in Delhi, which has led to the death of several people.

BJP’s Kailash Soni, the first member, who called to make his Zero Hour submission, apparently struggled to make himself audible in the midst of vociferous protests and sloganeering’s by members of the opposition parties, including the Congress, CPI, CPI (M), TMC, Samajwadi Party and AAP.

"No slogans in the House...you do not want the House to run," Naidu observed while asking the members in the Well to return to their seats.
