The J&K Administration is considering resuming OPD services in hospitals on a limited basis across the UT post May 3. This is being done to ease the problems of residents as the OPD services have been closed since March 25.
Official sources said all non-Covid hospitals would be opened after the district administration, Directorate of Health Services in both Kashmir and Jammu regions assessed the ground situation and a decision was expected to be taken after on May 3. Due to the closure of OPD services, the general public was facing problems. The officials said non-Covid hospitals, sub-district hospitals, community health centres and primary health centres would be made operational and guidelines notified by the administration.
