The Kashmir issue has always been a sensitive affair for arch-rivals India and Pakistan. The two nations have been at the loggerheads regarding Kashmir since independence. While many celebrities tend to keep themselves away from such a huge political matter, former Pakistan skipper and all-rounder Shahid Afridi has always been quite vocal on the topic. Recently, Afridi's comments on PM Narendra Modi and India, sparked a huge controversy and outrage among Indian cricketers, such as Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan. In addition, Harbhajan and Yuvraj regretted helping Afridi with donations for his foundation.
In his recent visit to the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Afridi not only made heads turn with his statement on PM Modi but also expressed his wish to lead a Kashmir team in his final year in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
