Bharatiya Janata Party leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and his mother Madhavi Raje Scindia on Tuesday tested positive for coronavirus. The mother-son duo were admitted to Max Super Speciality hospital in Delhi's Saket on Monday after they complained of throat irritation. They also had fever. Recently, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Haryana's Gurugram after showing coronavirus-like symptoms. He tweeted earlier today that he has been discharged. In another development, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal underwent COVID-19 test earlier today after he complained of sore throat and mild fever on Sunday afternoon. The test report will probably come later tonight or by Wednesday morning. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who joined the BJP from the Congress around three months ago, was in the news last week for purportedly removing 'BJP' from his Twitter bio. However, it was later found to be false news. "There has been no change in my Twitter bio. The reports going on in the media have no basis. People should not pay attention to such rumours. The things that were there in the bio at the time of my joining the BJP are still there. There was only a change of photo on Twitter handle when I came in," Scindia had told.
