India has recorded the highest-ever surge in its single-day coronavirus cases. In the past 24 hours, India has recorded 38,902 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the country's tally to 10,77,618. A total of 543 people have died due to coronavirus. The death toll in the country has now climbed to 26,816.
