India records biggest spike of 77,000 new cases, death toll up by 1,057

India has once again recorded a massive spike in coronavirus cases. A day after registering 75,000 new coronavirus cases, the country has recorded another 77,266 new cases in the past 24 hours. The total coronavirus cases in India now stand at 33,87,500. The death toll has also gone up by 1,057 and reached 61,529.
