Jammu University, JKBOSE & Govt college for Women Parade closed

Following detection of Corona positive cases, Jammu University has been shut for this week while the Jammu Division office of J&K Board of School Education at Rehari and Government College for Women, Parade Jammu shall remain closed for the next two days.

According to an Order, issued by the Registrar Jammu University, Main Campus of the university shall remain closed for three days i. e. September 9th to 11th while in pursuance of this order, all the examinations of Jammu University slated to be held on these dates have been postponed and fresh dates for holding such postponed examinations shall be notified separately.

The university shall resume its normal functioning from September 14. JKBOSE has also ordered that its Jammu Division office at Rehari Colony Jammu shall remain closed for two days for sanitization with effect from September 9. However, Assistant Secretaries of all sections of Jammu Division shall ensure to address the most urgent cases in the best possible manner during the said duration, says the order. Government College for Women, Parade Jammu shall also remain closed for two days with effect from September 9 due to detection of COVID-19 positive cases in the college. An order in this regard was issued by the college Principal.
