In a shocking incident, a 35-year-old scientist was honeytrapped and held hostage at a hotel in Noida by five persons including a Big Boss contestant. The gang demanded Rs 10 lakh from the victim to free him. Police said the scientist was associated with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). He was held hostage at an OYO hotel for an entire day. According to a report of news agency, the woman accused has been identified as Sunita Gurjar alias Babli, whose Facebook profile claims she is a local BJP leader. The woman was said to have made a brief appearance in the Bigg Boss contest and flaunts photos with show host and actor Salman Khan on social media.The woman also claimed that she was the relative of Bigg Boss season 10 winner Manveer Gurjar. Police arrested Sunita and three others on Sunday night from a hotel in Sector 41. Cops say they are also looking for two other accused who managed to flee from the spot. The gang used to rob people on the pretext of providing 'massage service'. This is the second such gang to have been busted by police.

The scientist, who is a resident of Sector 74 in Noida was looking for massage parlours when he came into contact with Sunita. When he called the parlour number, he was allegedly asked to come to Logix City Centre.
As the victim reached the place, he was taken to Kunal residency managed by OYO and held hostage in a room. Later, the kidnappers called his wife and demanded Rs 10 lakh. The man's wife later approached police, who formed a team to nab the accused. The woman was then sent to the hotel with cash. "Three men were standing outside the hotel. and came to take the bag. Two of the men managed to flee while the third one was caught. The man took the police where the victim was held," the report quoted DCP Ranvijay Singh as saying.
The woman accused Sunita and hotel manager Rakesh were also arrested by police. Meanwhile, Noida unit of the BJP said Sunita is a former BJP member. While Manveer Gurjar's family said she belongs to the village but is not a relative.
