A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck the Katra belt in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday night, but no deaths or property damage were reported, officials said.
The epicenter of the quake was 80 kilometers east of the city of Katra in Jammu province, with a depth of 5 kilometers, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The quake occurred at 10:07 p.m. at latitude 33.05, longitude 75.79, the newspaper said.
