About 9,000 pilgrims performed the ongoing Amarnath Yatra on the 25th day, while another group of 2,372 Yatris left Jammu for Kashmir on Wednesday.

Officials said, "Some 9,000 yatris performed a 'darshan' at the sacred cave on Tuesday, while another group of 2,372 yatris marched into the valley this morning in an escorted convoy to Bhagwati. We departed from Nagar Yatri Niwas."

“Of the 2,372 pilgrims, there are 1,955 men, 357 women, 6 children, 51 sadhus, and 3 sadhvi.

"Since it began on July 1, nearly 350,000 pilgrims have performed the Amarnath Yatra so far."
