In relation to the NIA's request for the death penalty for separatist leader Yasin Malik in a case involving the sponsorship of terrorism, the Delhi High Court on Thursday scheduled Yasin Malik's virtual release from prison for a hearing on August 7.

The application by the jail superintendent was postponed because the justices who were supposed to hear it, Siddharth Mridul and Anish Dayal, failed to show up.
