Congress president Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha membership was restored on Monday.
The Lok Sabha Secretariat has sent a notification that his disqualification has been lifted and his membership has been restored.

Gandhi was disqualified as a Lok Sabha member on March 23 after a Gujarat court convicted him of defamation and sentenced him to two years in prison.
A sentence of two years or more automatically disqualifies a legislator.
The Supreme Court on Friday upheld his conviction, paving the way for his reinstatement in the Lok Sabha. He represents Wayanad in the lower house.
