The Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HALSA) on Sunday organized the third National Lok Adalat in 22 districts and 34 sub-districts of the state.
A total of 1,51,834 cases were heard in the National Lok Adalat, of which 1,22,969 were settled at the pre-trial stage, settling a total of Rs. 774 056 9479.

An official spokesperson said that 2,60,518 pending cases were handled and 1,91,247 of them were settled, totaling Rs 178,218,1436.
A total of 3,14,216 cases were settled at Rs. 952 275 0915. This is the highest number of cases settled in Haryana National Lok Adalat. The National Lok Adalat dealt with a wide range of cases including civil, criminal, matrimonial, bank recovery, Road Accident Court (MACT), minor offences, summary judgment, traffic challenges and Negotiable Instruments Act.
Justice Arun Palli, Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court and CEO HALSA along with Member Secretary Subhas Mehla and Member Secretary Kavita Kamboj watched the event closely.
