The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has conducted two large-scale air exercises, one in China and one in Egypt, claiming it is a "significant milestone" in its journey to a "massive air force".

The flagships of PAF J-10 C and JF-17 fighter jets, fighter pilots, air defense commanders, and technical ground crews are actively participating in the bilateral air exercise Shaheen-X organized by the People's Liberation Army Air Force. , as well as in the Bright Star air exercise held in Egypt, the Dunya News channel reported on Friday.
The annual China-Pakistan Air Force bilateral exercise "Shaheen (Eagle) - X" takes place in Jiuquan and Yinchuan in northwest China. The exercise, which began last week in August, will continue until mid-September.
Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) and PAF have been conducting joint exercises in Shaheen since 2011, which are hosted by both countries in turn, ChinaMilitary.com reported.

Quoting a PAF statement, a Dunya News report said, "Participation of these fighter jets in Exercise Shaheen-X marks a major milestone in PAF's journey towards a technologically advanced and formidable air force."

Exercise Shaheen-X in China and Air Exercise Bright Star in Egypt provide valuable opportunities for the PAF to leverage its operational experience and exchange information with esteemed counterparts around the world, he said.
