Police launched an investigation after slogans "Khalistan Zindabad" were found on the wall of the Jal Shakti chapter house, officials said on Wednesday.
Kangra Superintendent of Police, Shalini Agnihotri, said that the slogans were painted by some mischievous elements and authorities were informed about it on Tuesday evening.
He said a police team arrived and painted over the wall.
Agnihotri added that a case has been registered and CCTV footage of the area is being scanned to find out who is behind the incident.
Officials said the incident was alarming as five matches of the ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 are scheduled to be held in October in Dharamsala and teams have started arriving in the city.
