Star Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has promised to play on the planet's greatest cricket association, the IPL "until he can walk no more".

Once more the 35-year-old, who assumed a monstrous part in Australia's ODI World Cup-winning effort in India as of late, will wear the shades of Imperial Challengers Bangalore in the IPL one year from now.

Maxwell feels Australian cricketers ought to play in the IPL for experience in front of the T20 World Cup in the US and the West Indies in June.
