More than 110 flights postponed as haze go on in Delhi

North of 110 worldwide and homegrown flights were deferred while around 25 were dropped as of now as a thick layer of mist covered Delhi, according to air terminal sources.

The meteorologist said that the perceivability at Palam dropped to 300 meters at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, which went on over the course of the evening and at 8:30 a.m Wednesday it was 600 meters.

The IMD orders haze power into four kinds: shallow, moderate, thick and exceptionally thick mist.

The perceivability goes from 999 m to 500 m, 499 m to 200 m, 199 m to 50 m and under 50 m, individually.

"Most recent Satellite pictures at 0700 am of today demonstrates that haze has decreased over Bihar, east UP, north MP & Delhi since 12 PM. Notwithstanding, thick haze is as yet beating portions of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh & northwest Rajasthan and liable to proceed with not many more hours," IMD said in a tweet at 8:30 a.m.
