Two learner pilots were harmed as a little airplane of the Indian Armed force arrived on a field in Bihar's Gaya region on Tuesday morning minutes after it took off, authorities said.

The microlight airplane of the Military's Officials' Preparation Foundation (OTA) arrived on the field in Bagdaha's Paharpur in Bodh Gaya sub-division around 9.15 am, they said.

"During the instructional course, the airplane encountered a breakdown and caused an enormous sound. At last, it arrived on the field," a cop said.

Two learner pilots were ready and they supported minor wounds, he said.

The townspeople helped in saving the pilots and informed the police and the OTA.

The pilots were taken to the headquarters for treatment, police said.

There was no harm to any regular citizen property because of the occurrence, they said.
