Two CRPF faculty were killed and two others harmed as aggressors supposedly gone after a camp of safety powers in Manipur's Bishnupur region in the early long periods of Saturday, police said.

The assailants went after an IRBn (India Hold Force) camp at Naranseina in the Moirang police headquarters region, they said.

"The assailants terminated unpredictably from peaks, targetting the camp. It began around 12.30 am and gone on till around 2.15 am. The aggressors likewise flung bombs, one of which detonated in the station of CRPF's 128 legion," a senior cop said.

The departed were distinguished as CRPF sub-auditor N Sarkar and head constable Arup Saini, he said.

The harmed were examiner Jadav Das and constable Aftab Das, he said, adding that they got splinter wounds.

The CRPF faculty were sent to give security to the IRBn camp.

A huge inquiry was in progress to find the culprits of the assault, police said.
