International film makers lauds efforts of team Mantostaan

Film Mantostaan, shot in beautiful locations of Jammu and Poonch has received appreciation from international film makers. Screened in International Film festival at London, producers, directors and international film fraternity has lauded the efforts of team Mantostaan for selecting a story based on partition of India-Paksitan and more encouraging to shot the film in trouble torn Jammu and Kashmir.
An international film director, Belinde Dorling in his message has congratulated the team of Film Mantostaan for its script, direction and location of the film. During screening of the film Mantostaan at London Asian Film festival at BAFTA, London, director Belinde Dorling and actor Canellen Hoppe personally conveyed their best wishes to film director Rahat Kazmi and producer Tariq Khan. Again both have conveyed their wishes to Rahat and Tariq and encouraging message for next assignments.

British actress Canelle Hopes after seeing the film was speechless and admitted that this film had haunting feature, will stay inside me and the world forever. She said Mantostaan was challenging film for director Rahat Kazmi, producer Tariq Khan and entire cast and crew. Some shorts of film still haunts me most, particularly partition of friends. Team members of film Mantostaan Aditya Partap Singh, Co producer Zaba Sajjad, Actor Sonal Sehgal, Shoib Nikash, Raina Basnet were also participated in Cannes Festival.

Producer Tariq Khan disclosed that actor Canellen Hoppe is keen to play role in new film and interested to see beautiful locations of Jammu, Poonch and Kashmir. Film has received best director award in London this year and best film award at Rajasthan and Nasik international film festival. Film has already received international appreciation in Cannes Film Festival in France.

After screening of film, international repute directors, artists and local media given a standing ovation to Mantostaan and crew members of film in particular to young director Rahat Kazmi and producer Tariq Khan. International distributors has also showed keen interest to buy this film.

Director of the film Mantostaan, Rahat Kazmi said that international film makers have encouraged us for opting a different script and which has historic relevance and writer Sadaat Hassan Manto pen downed incidents of partition with transparently. Japanees director Satoko Yokohama, actor Takuji Kameoka, courage film producer from Italy Berturaya Loye, Laura Sivis fames director from Sydeny Autralia, Alex Thomes journalist has also lauded the efforts of two young youths from Jammu and Kashmir. They lauded the efforts to shot film in trouble torn Jammu and Kashmir and selecting a such script too a challenging job.

It is pertinent to mention here that Mantostaan is first dark satire on the largest mass migration when millions of people were slaughtered and millions were displaced during India- Pakistan partition of 1947. Film director Rahat Kazmi said that after reciving appreciation globally, very soon we will decide our next project and should be shot in Jammu and Kashmir.
