DDC Shopian inspects works under PMDP
SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 5: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian today conducted a visit to Tourist Reception Centre, Padpawan to review the progress of ongoing work there.
During the visit the DDC was informed that the estimated cost of the construction done under Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP) is Rs. 97.25 lakh and so far an amount of Rs. 4.50 lakh has already been spent on it.
On the occasion the DDC urged the officials to make judicious use of funds and ensure quality work. He also asked the officials to work in tandem so that the building is completed within the stipulated time. The DDC directed the CEO to complete the work before winter. He assured the concerned department all the necessary support from district administration for resolving the bottlenecks which are hindering the execution of project.
During the visit the DDC was accompanied by Chief Executive Officer ADA and other concerned officers.
