J&K enters semis of Super Six Divang T20 C’ship

Jammu and Kashmir Physically Challenged Cricket Team registered win against Uttrakhand Physically Challenged Cricket Eleven and entered in semi-final in the Super Six Divang T20 Championship being held at Vadodhra.
In the quarter-final match played on Sunday, batting first J and K Physically Challenged Cricket team scored 128 runs in 22 overs for the loss of ten wickets.
Jagmohan (Indian Player) was the main scorer who scored 46 runs with six boundaries while Firous Ahmad and Mohd Younis (player from Kashmir) contributed 13 runs each for the J and K team.
For Uttrakhand, Narinder claimed four wickets, Varinder Singh took three wickets and Nikhal and Jaypal Negi shared one each.
In reply, Uttrakhand team could not chase the target and made only 108 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets thus losstthe match by 20 runs.
Nikhal Kumar was the main batsman who scored 24 runs while Vikram Rana Khagta and Varinder Singh contributed 11 runs each for the team.
For J&K, Captain Nadeem Ahmad was the pick of the bowler who claimed three wickets while Jagmohan, Mohd Younus and Firdouse Ahmad shared apiece each. Nadeem Ahmad was declared Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
Director General of Police (DGP), J&K, Dr S.P Vaid and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu, Dr S.P Singh Jamwal in their message greeted J and K team for their win against Uttrakhand and wished for future endeavour. Rajesh Gill, Incharge of the State team, informed that J and K shall lock horns with the Gujarat in semis tomorrow.
