Indian Cultural Forum organises ‘Majlis-6’

In its continued endeavour to promote literature, music, art, folklore, theater and cultural heritage, Indian Cultural Forum organised programme ‘Majlis-6’ here on Monday wherein prominent poets, writers, singers and musicians took part.
This programme was organized under the patronage of eminent Urdu poet of the subcontinent Pritpal Singh ‘Betab’ which was presided over by Dr Bharat Bhushan Sharma, President, Rashtra Bhasha Prasar Samiti. Pandit Vidya Rattan ‘Aasi’, an eminent Urdu Poet of the State was the Chief Guest and Prof. Raj Kumar was the Guest of Honour.
Sham Sajan, founder President of Indian Cultural Forum emphasised that such programmes shall be organised continuously and urged Galaxies Members of ICF to dedicate their time and talent for the cause undertaken by the Forum.
The artistes who participated in the musical programme organised on the occasion include Manju Bala, Gursharan Kour, Satveer Jamwal, Anil Raina, Karanveer Malhotra and Sham Sajan.
The poets who presented their poetry in the programme include Pritpal Singh ‘Betab’, Vidya Rattan ‘Aasi’, Raaz Manawari, Deepak Aarsi, Susheel Begana, Usha Kiran Kiran, Vijaya Thakur, Davinder Singh Vishwanagrik, K.K Shakir, Prof. Raj Kumar, Promila Manhas, Ashok Amber, Sudhir Mahajan, Baljit Raina, Surinder Neer, Suraj Rattan Bakshi, Suman Pal, Ashok Dutta, Jagdish Sagar, Tilak Raj Gupta, Deepak Chatta, Amarjeet Kour Neer, Amar Jeet Singh and Irfan Arif.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan Sharma highlighted the importance and need for such programmes for the uplift of socio-cultural values of our society and emphasized that he would like to help Indian Cultural Forum as much as he can.
Deepak Aarsi a prominent Urdu Poet and Secretary General of Indian Cultural Forum compered the programme.
Ravinder Kaul an eminent anchor and theater personality of the State presented vote of thanks.
