Hailing the speech of foreign Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj at UN General Assembly indicting Pakistan for its destructive approach, the former Union Minister Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta said that still there is time for Pakistan to give up obstinacy in its policies of killings the innocents and bloodshed as violence would not yield any results except pain to the humanity and sufferings to mankind. Thousands of lives have already been consumed because of terrorist violence and violation of ceasefire. The properties of lakhs of crores have been destroyed but with no results. If Pakistan would have opted positive approach, the people of both the neighbours would have been benefitted. India being a big and democratic country could bear the brunt of such an unfortunate approach but what Pakistan has achi-eved out of it, the perpetrators of this Jehad should have cool look, he added and pointed out that during the past there decades of cross border terror Pakistan must have spent lakhs of crores in breeding and feeding the terror. If this money and energy would have been applied to welfare of the people, the prevailing sad situation of hunger, poverty, disease and religious bigotry would not have been there in Pak/POK.
