HelpAge India observes International Day of Elderly as Stop Ageism

HelpAge India, an International Organisation working for the welfare of elders, on Friday observed International Day of Elderly and this year’s topic is Stop Ageism.
On the occasion of the International Day of Elderly, a workshop was organised by HelpAge India in association with Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS).
The workshop focused on two major topics i.e, Stop Ageism and Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.
Both the topics are quite related to women folk, so all the workers actively participated in workshop taking pledge to stop Ageism with a view to aware all women folk to take care of their parents as well as in-laws.
Others who participated in workshop were Haqikat Singh CDPO, Neha Gupta CDPO (ICDS), Sunita Santoshi, Manager, Neeru Sharma Khajuria, senior executive, Parshotam Kumar Help Line Counselor and Sanjay Sharma, Assistant, Physiotherapy Center HelpAge India.
