Road blacktopped, MLA Pawan hailed

The residents of Anand Colony in Battal Ballian, hailed the efforts of MLA Udhampur for fulfilling their long pending demand for blacktopping one km long road in the colony.

The residents said that they had been running from pillar to post chasing the departments but to no purpose. The residents finally approached the MLA Pawan Gupta who acceded to their request and took in hand the initial black topping of the road.

While addressing a big gathering of local residents Romesh Sallan thanked the MLA and said that Udhampur Constituency has started giving a different look as far as the roads and paths are concerned, since Pawan Gupta has taken upon himself to develop the constituency. He appealed to the MLA for construction of lanes and drains in this colony.

In his address Pawan Gupta said that this project will cost Rs 30 lakh and would be completed soon. He said that he will continue all the developmental works in the Udhampur.
