Balbir inaugurates online public grievance help centre

Balbir Ram Rattan, Vice-Chairperson of J&K SCs, STs & BCs Development Corporation Limited, on Wednesday inaugurated free online public grievance help centre in New Plot area of Jammu City.
The public grievance help centre was setup by the Jammu Province unit of All India Consumer Forum.
Forum Convener and All India General Secretary (Organisation), Kapil Sharma and large number of prominent citizens and office bearers of Beopar Mandal were also present on the occasion.
Kapil Dev Sharma, while briefing about the Help Centre, said that it is the first of its kind of Centre established in Jammu with an objective of providing free online services to the people.
“Anyone having a grievance against a department or other public utility organization can avail the benefit of sending their written complaint/ grievance by e-mail to the concerned body. The same will also be forwarded to the concerned minister and the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell. Moreover, the unemployed youth can avail the services of the centre as they can fill up online employment forms free of cost and also get printed application forms,” Kapil said.
Balbir Ram Rattan, while congratulating the All India Consumer Forum for coming forward with the mission of serving public through their help centre, said that it is indeed a great service to the people and expressed hope that the noble task taken into hand by the Forum will benefit the maximum people.
Forum Co-convener, Mohinder Dev Sharma, General Secretary Thakur Dass, Office Secretary Vikram Singh, Ex-Corporator Dinesh Gupta, New Plot Beopar Mandal office bearers Ramanji, Ajay Sharma, Sanjay Baru and Ram Pal were also present.
