NSUI launches membership drive

National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Tuesday launched a membership drive in J&K.
While launching the aforesaid drive, Vishal Choudhary NSUI National Secretary said that Union’s strength lies in the active members of colleges and universities of Jammu and Kashmir. “They are the backbone of the organisation. We are here to strengthen NSUI. Our doors are open for every student activist who believe in the ideology of Congress party”, he added.
He asked students to raise their voice against the anti-student policies of government like new recruitment policy (NRP) under SRO-202, JKPSC’s new criteria for the post of Assistant Professors, etc.
JKPCC General Secretary Shahnawaz Chowdhary congratulated Vishal Chowdhary and his State team on the launch of membership campaign. He stressed upon the student leaders to raise the issues of common students and to create an atmosphere of discussions in universities and colleges.
Shadab Khan (Prob-NOB) Incharge Jammu and Kashmir, Raqeeq Khan, Amjad Bhat (State Vice Presidents), Ajay Kumar, Saleem Chowdhary (National Delegates) Avijot Singh (State Gen-Secretary ), Umar Wani (State-Secretary), Sunny Parihar (District President Jammu), Vishal Kotwal (Incharge- President JU), Prakash Singh (District- Kishtwar President), Puneet Singh (State- Co-ordinator), Mohd Yaseen and others were also present.
