JKPS Kunjwani students shine at 20th State Taekwondo C’ship

Students of JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani brought laurels to the school by winning galaxy of medals in recently concluded 20th J&K State Taekwondo Championship organised by Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council at Multipurpose Hall, MA Stadium here from February 17 to 19.
The championship was held under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India.
The students of JK Public School, Kunjwani came out with flying colours clinching 11 medals including two gold, five silver and four bronze.
Mili Singh of class 3rd and Ashima Sharma of class 9th bagged gold medals while Radhika Bhan of class 5th, Bhihum Kour of class 6th, Nikhil Saini of class 7th and Krishna Goud and Nirmal Singh of class 8th clinched silver medals and Zohra Chouhan of class 6th, Randheer Kour of class 8th, Afsha Wani and Siya Saini of class 9th won bronze medals.
The medalists were felicitated in the special assembly on Wednesday by the Vice Principal, Puneet Kour. All the staff and management also applauded the efforts of the winner students and the Coach, Arvind Satti.
