JAKFAS artists create sand sculpture on Int’l Women’s Day

: J&K Fine Arts Society (JAKFAS) artists, Suresh Sharma, Virji Virendra Sumbli and Darshan Singh created big sand sculpture under the Tawi Bridge of Gujjar Nagar Jammu on the eve of International Women’s Day 2018 to pay tributes to the number of women who are pride for our nation.
This sand sculpture on Women’s Day is specially to pay tributes to first woman sculptor of J&K, late Govind Kour, General Secretary JAKFAS, Suresh Sharma said.
In future, he added, JAKFAS will going to organise the festival and workshop of sand sculpture for the school children and young budding artists.
