JKAACL organises traditional folk music programme at Kuppar Bajalta

Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) on Thursday organised traditional music programme at Kuppar Bajalta, Jammu.
Narayan Dutt, eminent social activist of the area was the Chief Guest and R.C Sharma, Naib Sarpanch was also present in the presidium. This event is supported by Dogri Sahit Sabha Kuppar, Bajalta, Jammu.
While speaking on the occasion, Narayan Dutt complimented the Academy for organising this traditional music programme in while eminent folk artists of the area performed in Dogri language.
He said that JKAACL is also encouraging the artists and writers community of this region and its hoped that this will continue in future too.
The artists who performed include: Des Raj and Party, Narayan Dutt and Party, Raj Kumar and Party, Jamba Ram and Party, Sheelo Devi and Party, Vishal Dogra and Party, Kailash Anthiya and Party.
The welcome address was given by S Popinder Singh, editor Dogri while the proceedings of the programme were conducted by Bishan Dass, Assistant Cultural Officer JKAACL. Subhash Sumbria, President Dogri Sahit Sabha, Kuppar presented vote of thanks.
