Chief Engineer DIQC reviews progress of vetting of designs

Kishore Kumar Gupta, Chief Engineer Design, Inspections and Quality Control (DIQC) on Monday discussed the status of vetting of designs of the projects.
Chairing a meeting here, the Chief Engineer stressed upon the officers for timely vetting of design of the projects received in the directorate.
Many other issues such as status of improvement of electrification of hydraulic research station / material testing laboratory, Jammu, purchase of engineering books on designs and codes, issues related to Road Safety Audit Cell and progress on construction of conference hall/ training hall were also discussed In the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Suresh Sabharwal Joint Director, Atul Bali Deputy Director (Highways & Bridges), Sanjay Gupta Deputy Director (Central), Varinder Gupta Deputy Director (DDO), Manoj Gupta Deputy Director (Channel) and Amit Sharma Research Officer (Hydraulic Research Station/Material Testing Laboratory).
