CAPSI conducts Cadaveric Workshop at GMC

JAMMU: A cadaveric workshop was conducted at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu in collaboration with Post Graduate Department of Anatomy GMC Jammu.
The faculty of eminent Pain-Spine Physicians from all over the globe conducted the workshop with the support of Faculty of Anatomy. The cadaveric workshop was conducted to learn the pain relieving procedures under Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound guidance.
Around 300 delegates, including top doctors in pain management, from seven countries like UAE, USA, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, Indonesia including India took part in the workshop.
This is the first time that such International Cadaveric Workshop was conducted at GMC Jammu.
The workshop was organised by the Indian Society of Study of Pain, and Centres for Advanced Pain and Spine Interventions (CAPSI), in collaboration with the Department of Anatomy, Government Medical College, Jammu, said Rohit Lahori, Organising Secretary of the conference.
The Cadaveric workshop was conducted post conference on third day ICRA PAIN 2018.
The conference was focused to alienate the pain of common Man. The organising team included Dr Gautam Dass as patron, Dr Pankaj Surange Chairman of conference, Dr Gurmeet Singh Reen as Vice Chairman and Dr Rohit Lahori.
