Nokia 7.1 could be launched in India in early November, according to a report from 91mobiles. The phone could be expected as an online-only product, and is expected to be priced under Rs 30,000. HMD Global had showcased Nokia 7.1 at the recently concluded India Mobile Congress 2018.

The news follows previous reports that had suggested that HMD Global would not launch Nokia 7.1 in India, but bring the Nokia 7.1 Plus instead. While the former had been launched in Europe earlier in the month, Nokia 7.1 Plus had been seen more recently in China, where it is named Nokia X7. At the launch, Nokia 7.1 had been priced at 319 euros (Rs approx.), which makes the India pricing seem likely.Sporting a 5.84-inch FullHD+ notched display, Nokia 7.1 has a screen aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone’s display is HDR10 compatible, that has been seen on other Nokia phones as well. Powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor, Nokia 7.1 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and is paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. These variants will offer expandable support of up to 400GB via its microSD card slot. This Android One phone comes with a 3060mAh battery that support fast charging.

Nokia 7.1 comes with Zeiss-branded dual rear cameras, that are vertically stacked. The dual rear configuration features a 12MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, and a 5MP monochrome secondary sensor having f/2.4 aperture.

Besides this, the phone also features an 8MP front camera. Dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC support, GPS/GLONASS and type-C USB port are among the phone’s connectivity modes. Nokia 7.1 is available in two colour options: Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel colour options.
