‘Shakti’ project silaunched for empowering grass-root workers: PCC chief

The Shakti Project has been launched by J&K PCC President G.A Mir in presence of AICC Co-ordinator and Resource Person, Ankush Singh & there senior functionaries of party, former Ministers and Legislators, Contesting Candidates, besides Coordinators of Booths, Blocks and Districts levels were present.

‘Shakti Project’ is the brain child of AICC President Rahul Gandhi, to reach out to the Congress workers at grass root level and to get feedback on various important aspects from them, which has highly benefitted the party in recently held elections in 5 states.
The function was coordinated by PCC Tourism, Trades and Commerce Cell led by Rakesh Wazir.

In this way, the Congress workers shall be involved in decision making process of the party. He asked the party leaders and coordinators of different Assembly Constituencies to launch a vigorous campaign to encourage the workers to get themselves with Shakti Project on the dedicated number of AICC for J&K State i.e, 87221-89000. He said that by February, maximum number of workers in J&K should get registered through SMS on this number mentioning their voter ID Card number.

Ankush Singh highlighted the importance of Shakti Project andsaid that it was the desire of Rahul Gandhi to ensure that all Congress workers should get registered in Shakti Project flow of information right from top to bottom and bottom to top in the party.
