Natrang’s theatre festival to starts today

In recognition with festivities of 35 years of Natrang, the eleventh Theater Festival will begin from April 27, 2019, at Natrang Studio Theater, Jammu.

In an announcement issued here, Natrang Director, Balwant Thakur educated that Natrang is arranging a four-day theater celebration consistently since May, 2018 and in such manner, eleventh celebration is beginning from April 27, 2019, including four theater preparations. With fulfillment of the celebration, the Natrang will set a record-breaking record in the nation of organizing 44 distinctive plays by an equivalent gathering in a year, he said. "The celebration will open with play 'Sevasadan' in light of a story by Munshi Premchand, adjusted by Rakesh Kumar Gupta on April 27, 2019. On April 28, Hindi Play 'Cleric Candle Sticks' will be exhibited. On third day of the fest, Sadat Hassan Manto's play 'Karvat' will be displayed while on a day ago i.e., April 30, 2019 play 'Hawalat' composed by Sarveshwar Dayal Sexana will be included. All the plays will be arranged at Natrang Studio Theater, Kachi Chawni, Jammu, at 5:00 PM every day under the course of Neeraj Kant," he said.
